More examples of soft-terrorism

19 August 2008 No Comment

On a (previous post), I tried to define a concept: soft-terrorism, as the ability or actions (or omissions) of governments (regional, local, judgements etc.) to allow or promote acts conducted or done by terrorism organizations, or, on a more wide range, acts on which the terrorists ar extolled. Acts on which it is or it was crystal clear that the terrorists were to be praised or extolled.

There are recent examples of this. For instance, last week-end, on Barcelona, there were two acts on which the terrorists were prayed, and… Guess what the authorities and regional police on Catalonia (the Mossos d’Esquadra) did nothing. They did not even acted on this terrorist-extolling acts on which there were some people condemned for terrorism on the act. Both mass meetings were prohibited by the government. But the police did not do nothing.

Second example. Next week-end there is another mass meeting in the Basque Autonomic Region, organized by the same people that did an act weeks ago praying terrorist De Juana Chaos. That act was permitted by the government, and in this acts the manifestants closed a street on San Sebastián and performed declarations and acts that can be labelled as terrorism extolltion, a crime under the Spanish law. Next week-end, there will be a similar act on the streets of the Basque Autonomic Region. What is going to do the national-communist government? Just nothing, just permit the mass meeting.

This can be catalogued as soft-terrorism. Enabling the terrorists and related people to do acts like this is simply another form of terrorismo. Is allowing the commitment of an offense. What will the judges and the prosecutors or attorneys will do? Will they do something? I am affraid I cannot expect nothing…
