Hace un par de años, leyendo un libro sobre la Segunda Guerra Mundial (creo que era de Anthony Beavor), leí una palabra que despertó mi curiosidad. Hablaba de Galitza, un territorio centroeuropeo. Entonces, hice algunas averiguaciones y… ¡voilá! Encontré que, efectivamente, Galitza es un territorio que ocupa el sureste de Polonia y parte del oeste de Ucrania. En la Edad Media tuvo cierta entidad (a nivel principado y luego reino), y desapareció después al final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, con el Tratado de Yalta.
