Censorship happens in Spain!

Remember 80’s in Madrid? I remember very well coming from Huelva to the University. Madrid’s Gran Vía was full of life. There was a McDonalds (my first experience with my classmate Eduardo!), there was a lot of people walking, there was also Madrid Rock (the best shop about music ever in Spain) and there was … Kentucky Fried Chicken!

About music, I remember that there was the times of Mecano, Héroes del Silencio, Hombres G, etc. Ramoncín (José Ramón Julio Martínez Márquez) was something sometimes good, but more related with older times. Ramoncín, Sabina, Alaska y los Pegamoides, Antonio Flores and some people like them were residual music, music that was for older people that was not in the movida of these times; this was old music. I agree that some of the songs were very good and that was the only music to be remembered by them, specially Ramoncín and Antonio Flores. Alaska was very good on recycling their music, and Sabina had success to move forward.

I have said that because I have the opinion that some people only can leave from their past temporary success. And that can be said about Ramoncín. People today cannot name more than one or two song of him, who claimed to be the Spanish Sprignsteen (bullshit!). So the question is… What is his way of live? There are different theories, but the most accepted is that he lives by threatening people.

Let me give you some examples. Libertad Digital publishes that he or his lawyers are constantly harassing and threatening to those websites that are saying something humorous or making jokes about himself. The real example is Runtimecomics, that had to eliminate contents of this website due to Ramoncin’s lawyers threats.

Maybe this is the way of life of Ramoncín. Maybe he is living of their appearances on TV in old-fashioned gatherings claiming to be somehow close to the “intellectuality”, and earning money from his not-so-known songs. Maybe. But the thing is that censorship is happening in Spain. And is has various faces. One of them is this one…

Holly shit! I believe I deserve a trial! Maybe Ramoncín does not understand English…
