You fed them…

Mr. Zapatero said about the last night ETA terrorist attack in Burgos, Spain:
The government is held to end with this blight …
Save your anger to the moment when is needed.
You fed them. you fed the beast.
Why are you showing surprise and anger?

Policy of appeasement on the 21st century

Yesterday, on the Spanish Parliament, there was a kind of debate between Mr. Zapatero, Spain’s Prime Minister, and Mr. Rajoy, leader of the opposition party, the PP (Partido Popular). The issue was the announcement last week, by the Spanish Defence Minister Mrs. Chacón, of the exit of the Spanish troops in Kosovo.
Firstly, I have to say that, since Spain did not recognize the independence of Kosovo, Spanish troops should never been present on this piece of European land. But the government of Mr. Zapatero, for not upseting again Mr. Bush …

Will you talk with a terrorist who is attacking your people? Will you talk shake hands with a terrorist who is killing your people, killing people from your neighborhood? Well… This is exactly why Mr. Ibarreche, the president of the Basque Autonomic Region and Mr. López, the leader of the PSOE in this region, are and will be in court. Whis is exactly why Mr. Ibarretxe has been today on the Basque Supreme Court.
He has been there supported and surrounded by his colleagues of the PNV, his own party. The …

There is no will…

There is a law in Spain, the law 7/1985, that regulates the basis of the local governments. This law was promulgated by the Spanish King Juan Carlos the First on April, 3rd, 1.985.
Its article 61 says the next:

That is, translated into English:
1. The Council of Minister, at its own initiative and with knowledge of the Council of Government of the corresponding Autonomic Region, or at its request and, in any case, with a previous agreement of the Spanish Senate, will procede, through Decree, to the dissolution of the government of …

Iñaki Gabilondo, the leader journalist of the Cuatro TV Station, propriety of the Grupo Prisa, is a perfect complement of the manipulation. He said recently, regarding the dark days of 11-M to 14-M, 2.004, things like this:
The importance of the terrorist attacks has influenced the elections.

Or:
The 11-M has produced a fire on the Spanish society
Or:
There has been a journalist operation based on the idea that [the Spanish Government] does not want to know the truth
He, the perfect example of manipulation. He, that during this time was on the SER radio …

After knowing that Le Figaro published on November 14th, in terms of what Mr. Zapatero promised to Mr. Sarkozy:
[If I am on this summit] Everything you will ask me, I will grant you
The question is clear:
How much costs this picture to Spain?

One of the issues on Spain is corruption. And on the last weeks, there has been some news about this, including the publication of an analysis of Ernst and Young about the corruption on the Autonomic Regions. Is interesting to verify the situation of each one of the regions:

This has come to me due to the different scandals of public spending of people such as Mr. Touriño (the president of the Autonomic Region of Galicia), who spent 480.000 euros to buy a new car, and around 2 million euros to …

I use to go to Galicia, the region is above Portugal, two weeks a month. I will be next week there and surely I will have a deeper knowledge of what happened yesterday on the Regional Parliament: the PP voted to “look for a consensus” on the plan that the regional government is promoting to impose the gallego (the regional language) in the schools and in the Galician society. Hours later, the leader of the PP on Galicia, Mr. Feijóo (former president of Correos, the public mail company in Spain), …

Today, on the Commission established to investigate the accident of the airplane of Barajas, the representatives of the pilots resigned, due of the filtrations to the mass media that have been done systematicly. This is one of the multiple irregularities on the management of this accident by the Spanish public administration.
On a country in which the filtrations are used by the socialist governments in order to do two type of things: first, to hide the effect of other huge problems on Spain (for instance, the economic crisis); second, to divert …

I am very accostumed to see the Spanish government, the socialist Spanish government, to look for another side when it comes to violation of the law. Very accostumed. I remember perfectly the case of Zapatero denying the dialog with ETA Basque terrorist (remember, BBC!) band, and also allowing the assassin De Juana Chaos to flew from the jail and walk around on San Sebastián with his girlfriend. Even more, there is a legend stating that there was a tale-bearing to the ETA environment when the police was to act against …
